Biography

Dr. Grace Swart is a dedicated neurologist renowned for delivering comprehensive, competent, and compassionate care to her patients. With subspecialty expertise in neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunology, neurophysiology, and nerve pathology, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her practice.

Dr. Swart has honed her expertise through extensive experience at leading NSW hospitals, including Royal Prince Alfred, St Vincent’s, and Concord Hospitals. She further advanced her training with a prestigious fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in the United States, where her scholarly contributions earned her a nomination as Assistant Professor in Neurology.

An active researcher, Dr. Swart has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international conferences. Her research focuses on critical areas such as peripheral neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, nitrous-oxide myeloneuropathy, and HIV dementia. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in inflammatory neuropathy at the University of Sydney, supported by a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) scholarship.
